Located on Shandwick Place, at the corner of Princes Street, the Clarendon Hotel (formerly known as the Maitland Hotel) has recently undergone renovation, making it a three-star hotel with an atmosphere of four stars. The hotel is strictly non-smoking. The rooms (all non-smoking) were tastefully decorated. They combine tradition and modernity. They are comfortable and welcoming. Wireless LAN for all guests. Magnificent views of Edinburgh Castle which is about 20 meters away on Princes Street. The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of tourist attractions, the financial district, theatres, restaurants and the International Conference Centre (EICC). The Airlink bus No. 100, which runs from the airport to downtown takes you directly in front of the hotel and picks you up in front of the hotel for the trip back (to the airport). The journey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes and a ticket costs \u00a3 3 each way and the \u00a35 for a return. The hotel has no parking facilities. The closest NCP parking lies close to Lothian Road, which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel can provide all customers with a coupon of 20% for parking. Just ask at the front desk.
