"The hotel was excellant and clean and i would definatley stay there again if we where to visit disney or even the surrounding area of paris. We have a large family and the room comfortably fit all 6 of us. The only complaint was the lack of fridge in our room. But it was a nice spacious room and we where impressed. The swimming pool gets busy but the kids loved it and the Pirate ship was great. The shuttle buses are every 5 minutes and can get quite packed so i would try and get a bus early before they get so full as it's hard work standing. Although you are only on them for about 5 minutes which is not too bad. The hotel breakfast was the standard croisannts, ham, cheese, bread yoghurts and fruit etc. We had a fantasic two full days in disney. We could eat at the fast food reatuarants without breaking the bank. But I would steer well clear of planet hollywood. The food was dismal and for the price you pay you expect something at least half decent fair enough you pay for the name but it was truly awful food." (99004395)
The accomadation was extremely clean and the rooms where lovely and bright. The hotel staff where pleasant and the kids loved the pirate ship and swimming pool.
The only downside to the rooms was there was no fridge which meant you had to be up and down for breakfast before you could have a nice cool drink. or if the kids are tired from a day at disney there was no way of a cool beer just in the room so they could settle down

your exchange rate GB pounds to euros was extortionate having the monopoly on all things i think ACTUAL exchange rates would be in order. more variety in the breakfast fruit please, having only melon available is unfortunate if do not like melon

Child friendly and good facilities. No problems with any of the staff
Prices for food, drink quite expensive compared to Ireland. Staff on bus transfer to disneyland (Pink Bus no. 54) very ignorant and non-receptive towards tourists

"Make sure you have directions to the hotel as our map was poor and we got lost 10km from the hotel in the middle of the night. Also We had the buffet meal in the hotel at 9 oclock by which time the food was not as hot as I would have liked it, and the restuarant area was cold and empty. There was no shower cap in the bathroom which I found irritating as I could have brought one. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus to and from Disney is excellent." (97816600)
the themed reception area is very attractive
I found the general open areas of the hotel cold possibly due to the large glass areas and the fact that the weather was very bad.

Close to Disney Parks, good transfers.
Having to pay extra for: pool towels, no shampoo etc in room, 2 small toilet rolls for a family of 6. travel adapters didn't fit. Over- crowded in the breakfast area. Price of connecting to the internet too much. Invoice receipt not very clear.

"The hotel's arrangements for breakfast were inadequate, chaotic and confusing. There were long queues for milk, and all beverages. The staff were run off their feet. It completely wrecked the image of this hotel and I overheard numerous comments from other hotel guests about what an horrendous experience breakfast was." (97052325)
Proximity to EuroDisney Park
The breakfast facilitie and arrangements were absolutely chaotic. It completely altered my view of the hotel.

That the restaurants used to close a bit early and we could not find something to eat when we came back late to the hotel. Also the lighting in the rooms was too low.

"Overall, good value for money, as it was very cheap. Last year we stayed next door (Dream Castle) and the difference was huge! we ended up going there for dinners this year as well. If you are not too fussed about cleanliness and excellent curlinary experience, and prefer to have place for kids to do a range of activities, this is your place. Good distance to Disneyland." (99451338)
We stayed at the 5-6 persons crew room. it was ideal for the kids, as they were able to have their own room with TV (read: excellent break for the adults). It was a conveninet location and had a good range kids activities
it was untidy, and the donwstairs was very hall-like. Echoing in the dining areas, whcih made it unpleasant to eat. Also, the dinner was not what it appeared to be - looks can be deceiving.

GOOD POOL FACILITIES & PLAY AREA FOR KIDS ( & OLDER ). SUPER WATER SLIDE. GOOD / REGULAR LINKS TO DISNEY PARKS / VILLAGE. VERY GOOD BUFFET BREAKFAST.
WOULD BENEFIT FROM AIR CONDITIONING IN ROOMS IN HOT WEATHER.

"Overall very happy with stay. Facilities were perfect for kids and they particularly enjoyed the games rooms and the swimming pool area. Pool was great for children and adults alike. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Felt it was a safe hotel and our party of 4 adults could relax and have dinner in the restaurant while the kids were playing in main areas (with regular checks!) Location to parks was great and I would consider this a major plus. Good bus service - with 5 minute journey time - made it very easy. Hotel staff could perhaps be more au fait with park closing times. We arrived at park on Friday evening (18:40) to be told it was closing and we couldn't enter - felt hotel staff we had spoken to 15 minutes earlier could have done better. Other than that, staff were very helpful and looked after us very well. Thanks for a great weekend break. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a ball!!" (99110062)
Facilities - pool and games rooms were great for evening entertainment, guest rooms were spacious enough. Shop was a nice bonus with some products at good prices compared to parks. Location to Disneyland.
Very slow check-in process on Friday evening.

Staff were helpful and friendly, good facilities, will definately consider returning at some point as ideally situated for both Disney and Val de Europe, overall excellent value for money." "this hotel is good value for money and has all the amenities a family could want. Our children range in age from 5 to 15 and the hotel is ideal for all the family. We can eat pizza and have a glass of wine while keeping an eye on the children swimming, playing in the play area or using the games room. The shuttle service to Disney is frequent and convenient and the rooms are comfortable and enable the larger family to share 2 adjoining rooms at reasonable cost. This was our second stay at the Explorers and we would certainly stay there again." (99525571)

The hotel was clean and rooms were turned down every day. Our room was quiet. My son loved the 'Pirate Ship'.
The breakfast setup is pure chaos. On our first morning it was not clear for new residents were they were supposed to enter. People were coming in from every entrance, there wasn't enough tables. Staff were running around like headless chickens. The selection of food for breakfast is poor. There is only one machine dispensing milk - at least one more machine is needed for busy periods. The queues for milk and to get a free table were extremely long on our first morning as we made the mistake of going to breakfast at 9am. We felt like animals being herded.

Hotel staff were helpful. The kids loved the pool.
Not much in the way of extras. You had to 'rent' a towel at the pool. No shampoo in baths. They skimped on replacing toilet paper. Do your research on ticket prices. We bought ours at the hotel desk and thought they were more expensive then they needed to be. We never did check in the park to confirm this feeling.

"I felt this hotel was excellent value for money. I had young children with me and I thought it was very child friendly. The restaurants carried a large range of foods and the facilities were excellent. My children loved the pool and the play area. The room was perfectly adequate for our stay. It was clean and well maintained. The biggest draw back with it was that it was very far away from the main lobby which can be an inconvenience when you have young children . The bus service to and from the Disney parks was very convenient, free and very regular. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to friends." (99869689)

Entertainment facilities for children were excellent - pool with slides, play areas, etc. Food for what is basically mass catering was actually very good and good value - plenty of choice and again excellent for kids
Not much really - perhaps one area which is truely quiet and peaceful for adults / parents might have been good - even the bar had one of those dancing video games and was pretty noisy.

Hotel was great, very local to Euro Disney just what we needed. We had a cabin room which meant we had a small adjoining room with bunk beds for the older kids with a playstation (pay to use) and tv. Rooms were tidied every day. Plenty for the kids to do with an indoor play centre, a play room, a pirate ship to climb, the swimming pool and slides and the food was great if you wanted to stay in and eat.
No shampoo or conditioner, only handsoap and shower gel in containers on the wall.
