The Birdham at Bembridge is located in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight, a short ferry journey from mainland UK, 33 km from Southampton and 12 km from Portsmouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site gastropub.... Checked in late due to delayed ferry but still easy and quick. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel in a lovely location.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Waverley Inn is a Victorian era pub build around 1886 which offers pet-friendly accommodation 10-15 minutes' walk from Newport. This property had lots of character & the food in the pub was delicious! We especially enjoyed the Sunday Roast & the breakfast was an excellent start to our morning. The owners & staff were all so friendly, welcoming, & helpful. Our double room was very spacious and comfortable with an oversized bathroom. Do understand this is a pub with rooms, not a modern hotel. That’s really the charm of it & my husband & I are so glad we chose to stay here! An added benefit of staying here is a really central location on the Isle of Wight so you can get around quite quickly. Carisbrooke Castle and Newport are even within walking distance.

With beautiful sea views from the esplanade in Cowes, The Woodvale provides stylish accommodation on the Isle of Wight’s northern coast. The hotel is well situated overlooking the Solent and its spectacular sunsets. The garden terrace area overlooking the Solent has been expanded since I was last there and is now almost tripled in size. The food menu has also been expanded and is good value for money.

Chad Hill Hotel is a traditional Victorian house, located 5 minutes’ walk from Sandown city centre and rail station. Sandown beach and pier are only 650 metres from the hotel. Wow, what a welcoming atmosphere! There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel were you can relax. The venue is also full of trees, for me that is a real positive point.

A short walk from the beach, The Fernside is a guest house offering free WiFi, free parking, rooms with en suite facilities and a delicious breakfast. Lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Spacious room and great location. 10 min walk to seafront.

The Fountain Inn overlooks the River Medina and has harbour views from its al fresco dining area. It offers free Wi-Fi, a good breakfast and live music on most Friday and Saturday nights. Great location and staff was very pleasant

Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Anchor Inn is set in Cowes, 24 km from Blackgang Chine and 7.2 km from Carisbrooke Castle. Very friendly, helpfull staff. Excellent location. Excellent and silent, well equipped room. Clean room and bathroom. We would stay here again.
